TAD Reporting Requirements

The new TAD import file format is a simple CSV (comma separated values) file.   Any home-grown tournament software system must comply with the new format as of 1/1/2012.  The format and titles of the columns can NOT be adjusted: you must adhere to this format.  You can still send this file to the tournament-avgs@igbo.org email address.

Bowlts is no longer supported.

If you are using IGBO-TS 2.5 or greater you do not need to create an export file - if you are connected to the internet and to the TAD data center (indicated at the bottom of your IGBO-TS screen) you can post your tournament's results directly into the TAD data center.

The Format

The file has to have 2 header records.   The first header record looks something like this:

2.5 Export Format IGBO 2011 - Toronto 5/25/2011 5/30/2011

The first column holds the name of the format: 2.5 Export Format.   The second column holds the name of your tournament.   The third and fourth columns hold the start and ending dates for your tournament.

The second header record has the following column headings and their meanings for each bowler record after the header records:

NOTE: It is NOT important to have all of the information except for the scores.   If you have the unique IGBOTSID for the bowler participating in your tournament and the TAD committtee, then the remainding personal information is not required.   However, if the bowler or your software system does not have his/her unique IGBOTSID, then it will be necessary to provide the additional personal indofmration so the TAD committee can associate the scores with the correct bowler.   Below is a table of the meanings of each column.
